Get to know Bob Fletcher

On November 8, 2016, Bob Fletcher was elected Mayor of Vadnais Heights.  More Information about his service as Mayor can be found at:
In addition to serving as the Ramsey County Sheriff, BOb was also elected to two terms on the St. Paul City Council in the 1980s.  In 2014 he was elected to serve on the Vadnais Heights City Council. in northern Ramsey County.  The City of Vadnais Heights website can be found at:

Volunteerism & Service

​​Bob Fletcher has spent much of his life volunteering as a youth athletics coach.  He has coached football, hockey, Softball and baseball for many years.  He was also one of the original coaches for the "Night Moves" Basketball program in st. Paul.  As sheriff, he developed youth literacy and athletics programs for the Hmong community.   He is pictured below with General Vang Pao at the Ramsey County Sheriff Youth Literacy Program.   Bob worked closely with his friend "VP" and other leaders in the Hmong Community to improve the lives of Hmong Americans from 1990 until General Vang Pao's death in 2010.
